Travel Tales: Macau

Sep 27, 2010

My trip to Macau started like this: I didn't catch my plane. I've set my alarm wrong and ended up taking another flight 12 hours later. But that mishap didn't dampen my excitement, instead it just gave truth to this travel advice: when travelling solo, you have no one to rely but yourself. I love Macau's blend of old and new. The historical buildings and monuments are such a joy to photograph while the looming casinos provided luxurious entertainments to just immerse yourself in. I enjoyed walking around on foot because there just so many things to see.

Note the mosaic paving of the street. The whole of Macau is paved like these.

Hoped u enjoyed looking at the pictures! I'm wearing a Bench bamboo silk tshirt, Blanc et Noir skirt, Vivi shoes and Nina Ricci bag.

Leisurely Wednesday

Sep 22, 2010

So I found myself today just spending a day of leisure. And by leisure, I meant breakfasts at 10 am, flipping through japanese fashion magazines like Vivi and JJ en horizontalle on the sofa while watching tv, playing with my rowdy dogs, talking with the boyf on skype for 3 hours and getting dressed in whatever suits my mood to run errands. Not exactly the most practical thing to run errands you say but made the task less, erm, dreadful. A great wednesday all in all.

Wearing an LV dress, Aldo nude pumps I got from an Aldo outlet store and headband from Sm. Have a great day everyone!

First of all, I would like to aplogize for the lack of outfit posts and the abundance of beach pictures. I guess I'm what u call a beach comber and when the beach is just an hour away, I'd cook all sorts of excuse to drive by the sea. Just came back from a solo trip to Macau and I'm so excited to share pictures!

I'd also like to thank the lovely Sweet of the blog "Confessions of a Drama Queen" for her feature. I'm so honored to be one of the recipients of her "Favorite Blog award" and her interview of me can be seen by clicking here.

Have a lovely week everyone!
While redoing my blog layout, my blog roll links have been deleted so if I forgot anyone's blog, do shoot a comment. thanks!

Few things make me happier than the sight of a beach. So when my cousin invited me for lunch in their beach house, I packed my bags in a jiffy. Great food, good company and a leisurely pace marked my long weekend. And oh, finally got a light tan.

So how did you spend your weekend lovelies? Have a great week ahead!

Hi everyone, how's your weekend? Well, since it was raining buckets anyway, I just curled up on the sofa with these three books from The Hunger Games series. All I can say is that it's so fast paced and exciting that I couldn't put it down and come Sunday night, I felt my eyes were straining due to reading. I can't wait for the movie to come out!

I'm wearing a lace blouse/dress which I unearthed during closet cleaning. Amazing how old clothes can turn "new" when you find them again isn't it?

Hello everyone, are you feeling the chill yet? I haven't seen the sun the whole week and the rainy season is on full mode on this part of the world. Time to bust out that jacket that's been hanging on my closet, pair my skirts with stockings and wear boots to protect my feet from the rain. But the best part of the rainy season is that nature seems to grow more lush and in the rare times the sun peeks out, everything is in technicolor hues.

Have a greet weekend lovelies!
