(Tory Burch dress, Schu peeptoes, Silk scarf from China)

I actually don't own much violet in my wardrobe but I super love the prints in this dress, I am smitten by it. I think this piece is a keeper in my closet and I can see myself wearing it again and again.


Also, some carnations for everyone! I was pleasantly surprised to see this in the market this morning (it is not a native flower here) so I scooped a bouquet or two, placed them in a tall vase and immediately felt them lighten up the house.

Nice prints! :) Carnations are everywhere here... They are the replacement or alternative to roses. If a guy is being romantic, you'll get roses. If he's being friendly, you'll get carnations. They are still both very pretty.
