So how was your weekend everyone? It's Monday afternoon already and I'm still groggy from lack of sleep. Too much of a good thing is bad too. To kick off the start of the Holy Week (it's considered a holiday here but a solemn one), the BF and I decided to take a nostalgic trip to our alumna university where we met 7 years ago. It's been a while since we went back and it struck us how beautiful the grounds of the university is. Vain me decided to walk around the campus in 5 inch wedges which resulted in swollen feet. I bought some lovely ballet flats after the visit but still walked and walked among the malls that dot the city. We have a big mall culture here in the Philippines and malls compete amongst each other. Poor me, my feet didn't even fit my flats as we rode the bus home.
Excuse if I look awkward in the photos. I was not used to being photographed by the BF and felt self conscious.
Some of the sculptures in the photos are free standing structures beside the museum. Too bad, the guard didn't allow cameras inside. The Jorge B. Vargas museum inside the UP campus featured textiles woven in the different parts of the Philippines plus paintings by renowned artist Fernando Amorsolo.
